It’s College Move-In Week!

Welcome back students! Can you believe it’s that time of year again? We thought we’d give you an insight into what campus life has to offer so you’re ready to jump right in and explore.

Minnesota State Students, you have a beautiful campus with so much to offer! Whether you’re a first year student or returning for your last semester, you have to make sure to spend some time in the Centennial Student Union (CSU). The CSU has a variety of offerings from academics to relaxation. Let’s take a deeper look at what you can find there.

Need to purchase your textbooks, forgot to buy black pens, or want to get hooked up with some MSU swag?

Head to Maverick Shop for all of the above! With textbooks in hand you can find a variety of study areas in the CSU including the Hearth Lounge with all of the soft seating you could possibly want.

If you get hungry while exploring, in the CSU you will find the MavAve Food Court, featuring Taco Bell Express, Sushi, Firehouse Subs, Starbucks, and more!

Now that you’re settled with your supplies, have explored the essential dining areas, and are ready for some fun, head to the Maverick Bullpen. Bowling, billiards, gaming stations, tv lounge, a snack bar, and so much more will be sure to help you relax at the end of the day (or between classes) to maintain a school/life balance.

If you want to enjoy the weather before the Minnesota snow arrives and need a place to lounge on the lawn or hang up a hammock, head to the Memorial Library or Performing Arts Center lawns. With large shade trees you’re sure to find a perfect place to relax outdoors.

To make the most of your college experience, don’t forget about clubs, activities, and wellness! MSU offers a variety of clubs, intramural sports, sport clubs, fitness and wellness programs, and Maverick adventures to be involved and stay active during your time in Mankato.

There are also to-go options if you want something to keep you fueled but don’t have the time to sit for a meal.
