Arch + Cable was founded through the shared vision of Michelle Schooff and Dr. Julene Nolan, two accomplished leaders dedicated to creating meaningful hospitality experiences in downtown Mankato. Blending expertise in global business, education, and community leadership, they designed more than a boutique hotel. They created a welcoming destination where modern comfort, local character, and thoughtful hospitality come together. Through their women-owned Hospitality Ventures partnership, their commitment to innovation, collaboration, and community continues to shape every guest experience at Arch + Cable.

As co-founder of Arch + Cable and Hospitality Ventures, Dr. Julene Nolan brings a unique perspective shaped by her background in psychology, education, and community leadership. Her commitment to understanding people and creating meaningful connections inspires the welcoming atmosphere guests experience throughout the hotel. Guided by empathy, thoughtful design, and a passion for strengthening communities, Dr. Nolan has helped create a boutique destination where every stay reflects warmth, comfort, and authentic hospitality.

GUEST SERVICES

OVERVIEW
Responsible for front desk operations while maintaining high standards of hospitality + care.



TYPE
Day Shift, Overnights, Weekends, Holidays, Part or Full Time, Hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate guest reservations + check in
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Communicate professionally with Guests, Staff and Vendors
  • Complete reporting as required by general manager and ownership
  • Assist Housekeeping as needed
  • Respond to reviews on TripAdvisor, Google, Yelp, etc.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by Manager

Candidates must be willing and able to:

  • Work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Commit to delivering high levels of customer service
  • Lift up to 50lbs, bend and stand on ladders
  • Desire to develop as a leader in the hospitality industry 

HOUSEKEEPING

OVERVIEW
Responsible for housekeeping operations while maintaining high standards of hospitality + care.


TYPE

Day Shift, Part Time Weekends + Holidays, Hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Clean & Stock Guest Rooms According to our Housekeeping Standards of Care
  • Help with Laundry Operations & Inventory
  • Maintain Common Areas
  • Light Maintenance Work (changing light bulbs, paint touch ups, etc.
  • Assist with Guest Inquiries as needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by Shift Lead.

Candidates must be willing and able to:

  • Work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Commit to delivering high levels of customer service
  • Lift up to 50lbs, bend, and stand on ladders.
