What Our Guests Say
Arch+Cable is a stylish boutique alternative to the usual chain hotels. Just northeast of downtown near the river, it’s easy to access with plenty of free surface parking. The hotel is located on the fourth floor of a modern office building, giving it a unique feel.

Rooms are spacious, very clean, modern-industrial in design, with high ceilings, floor-ceiling windows, and no carpet. It was quiet and comfortable.

Although mostly self-check-in/out, staff were friendly and responsive when needed. A miscommunication about an amenity was quickly and graciously resolved by the owner and front desk.

Overall: modern, comfortable, and well-run — a great choice if you want something distinctive.
My husband and stayed at Arch and Cable for one night and loved it. Along with being very clean, we enjoyed the big windows, modern style, and were impressed with the little welcoming extras.
Needed a relaxing night away, Arch + Cable did not disappoint! Check-in was seamless and convenient. My room was perfect-- stunning views, thoughtful details, and the most comfortable bed I have slept on in my entire life. Absolutely loved having fresh donuts and Nespresso in the morning. The staff was incredible- I left something behind and they promptly contacted me to get it returned-- never in my life has another hotel done this for me. Looking forward to booking my next stay, cannot recommend enough!
I stayed at Arch & Cable last night and already want to go back. It’s the sister hotel to Hotel Alexander, but with a totally different vibe — more modern, luxe, and clean with a moody black-and-white aesthetic. Everything felt high-end and intentional, from the bedding (SO soft and fluffy) to the stunning floor-to-ceiling windows that let in the prettiest light.

The self-check-in process is one of my favorite features — they text you everything you need, from the door code to check-in details, so you don’t have to talk to anyone or wait at a front desk. It’s seamless and stress-free. Both Arch & Cable and Hotel Alexander also stock carts in the hallways with extra towels, toothbrushes, razors, etc. — such a thoughtful touch you don’t realize you’ll appreciate until you need it.

Even though I live in Mankato, it felt so refreshing to get out of my space and have a little solo reset — face mask, wine, comfy bed, no laundry staring at me. You don’t need a big reason to stay. If you’ve been craving a change of scenery, even for one night, this is the perfect place to check in, slow down, and romanticize your evening.
I travel a lot. NY, SF, Chicago mostly. This is an excellent hotel room in any city or town. Highly recommended.
