Caffeine Crawl

I don’t know about you, but when I travel to a new destination one of the first questions I want the answer to is simple: Where can I get some coffee? Arch + Cable will have a Nespresso Memento for guests to use, but sometimes it’s nice to have someone else make your coffee. We’ve taken the guess work away and have created a list of places you can find some really good coffee.

Let’s preface this by saying, of course we have your beloved chain coffee shops: Dunkin’, Starbucks, Caribou, and Scooter’s - and multiples of each!

But we are here today to dive-in to the local, one-of-a-kind options available to you when traveling to Mankato. The best part is, these shops are all very close to Arch + Cable, so you don’t even have to go far.

First up, Coffee Hag. The Hag serves organic, fair trade coffee, teas, and espressos. Their shop is very inclusive, is filled with amazing artwork featuring a new local artist each month, and they host live entertainment.

Moving along to Tandem Bagels. Wait, did you say bagels? Yes, yes I did. While Tandem Bagels does have really good bagels and homemade cream cheese, they also have a great coffee selection. Check out their Instagram to see all of the yummy creations they come up with!

River Rock Coffee & Tea has locations both in Mankato and St. Peter, if you’re headed that way. They focus on sustainability of the earth, including their food and global coffee sources.

Not only do they serve coffee drinks you can find pretty much anywhere, they have specialty drinks like the Coffee Mint Julep and Lemon Twist Shakerato.

Right up the street from River Rock is the Fillin’ Station Coffeehouse. Not only do they have great coffee drinks, you can buy beans there too! The Fillin’ Station also features a local artist each month to share their works in varying mediums. Make sure you check out their “Top Ten” menu when you go.

Last, but certainly not least, if you take a short trip over the bridge on to Belgrade in North Mankato you’ll find Neutral Groundz where you can share, relax, and shop.

Their premium coffee drinks are amazing and what’s better than a shop and sip experience? The shop features an entire ‘Home Goodz’ section that is a must see.

Now do you know where you’re getting your coffee during your next stay at Arch + Cable? Make sure to tag us on Instagram if you visit one of these fabulous coffee shops at our recommendation!
