History

St. Patrick's Day marks the passing of Patrick, Ireland's patron saint. He is widely known for being captured and taken to Ireland as a slave, then later introducing Christianity to parts of Ireland. We associate the shamrock with this holiday, which is used as a metaphor to symbolize the Holy Trinity, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
